PD 6500i Dual Optics for people screening
The PD 6500i works on the pulse-induction method with Garrett Dual Optics and a Digital Signal Processor. Multi-zone pinpointing captures objects in 33 separate zones from head to toe and shows the height and approximate position. 20 programs cover airport, court, correctional facility and stadium. Traffic-light symbols at eye level secure high throughput of people, a counter in both directions secures the visitor cap at events.
The PD 6500i keeps all settings, even when disconnected from the mains, and needs no calibration after switching on and off. A memory battery is not required. At eye level, internationally understood traffic-light symbols show a red stop hand or a green walk symbol and thus increase the throughput rate.
The PD 6500i works with Advanced Broadband Technology. It analyzes the object, detects ferrous and non-ferrous weapons and distinguishes precious metals. With multi-zone pinpointing it is the only walk-through detector approved at US and European airports that shows the height and approximate position of the object.

Through the iC module the detector connects to a laptop or PC by cable or wirelessly. Passages can be monitored on screen and analyzed statistically, and the internal data memory records every change.
