Where you need us.

Every location places its own demands on detection, throughput and law, whether a public authority, a correctional facility, a large event, an airport or a logistics centre. We know the standards and the typical mistakes for each setting and choose the technology accordingly.

Airport security

Airport security

At airports, the Aviation Security Act (LuftSiG) and EU Regulation 2015/1998 set out who and what is screened. We supply the technology approved for this, from walk-through detectors to X-ray, and train the screening staff.

Correctional facilities

Correctional facilities

In the correctional facility, prison law (Strafvollzugsrecht) permits searching prisoners and visitors by technical means. At the entrance, metal detectors screen the visitors, and inside they secure workshops and sensitive areas. Mini phones are detected by the Paragon.

Theft prevention measures

Theft prevention measures

At the factory gate it is not the technology that decides but the law. Staff checks are subject to co-determination and need a works agreement. Within that framework, metal detectors measurably reduce shrinkage. Customer exits remain off limits.

Public authorities

Public authorities

Courts, town halls and citizens' offices screen public visitors on the basis of their right to control the premises (Hausrecht). The task is rarely the technology but its placement. Narrow entrances, single-person reception desks and queues make the difference. That is exactly where we plan with you.

Large events

Large events

Large events are screened at places that are rarely designed for it. The typical traps are flexing tent floors and tight time. We plan the lane so that it runs reliably under these conditions, on request with staff.

Port and ship security

Port and ship security

In ports and on board, the ISPS Code governs security. It requires access control and the prevention of unauthorised weapons and explosives, graded into three security levels. Metal detectors are a central tool in this.

Private security

Private security

Personal and property protection calls for a concept that fits the risk profile, and staff with certification under section 34a of the Trade Regulation Act (GewO). We supply the security technology and on request the mobile lane including operation.

Forensics & dangerous objects (CSI)

Forensics & dangerous objects (CSI)

Metal detectors recover metallic evidence such as projectiles, casings and crime weapons. What matters is separating small targets from interfering scrap. The Garrett Vortex CSI is built for this, on land and underwater.

Hospitals and clinics

Hospitals and clinics

Clinics are open houses. Violence against staff in emergency departments is rising. Entrance screening on the basis of the right to control the premises (Hausrecht) can protect here without hindering operations. A second, purely technical benefit lies in protection ahead of the MRI.

Schools and educational institutions

Schools and educational institutions

In Germany, screening at schools is not everyday practice but the exception, based on the school authority's right to control the premises (Hausrecht). Where it is considered, the concept behind it matters more than the technology. We advise objectively and put the options in perspective.
