About VMI.
VMI Security has developed and manufactured X-ray technology for non-destructive inspection for more than three decades. Everything from a single source. Development, manufacturing and maintenance service are bundled under one roof. The company belongs to the Brazilian Prime Group, which also includes the medical technology sister VMI Médica.
The headquarters is in Lagoa Santa in Brazil, with further sites in the USA and Australia. More than 300 employees work together with over 70 distributors. Five continents. The systems are in place at more than 600 sites worldwide.
The portfolio comprises more than 20 products, from the compact baggage scanner through body scanners to the vehicle inspection system. Automatic algorithms detect drugs, explosives and high-density materials. A broad field.
