MZ 6100 security walk-through detector with multiple zones
The MZ 6100 is the economical entry point into Garrett walk-through detection. In the portfolio it sits below the PD 6500i with its 33 zones and the Paragon with 66 zones. For organizations that have to screen on a tight equipment budget, it delivers a solid level of security. DTI is the exclusive importer of the Garrett walk-through detectors, which are in service at airports and at the Olympic Games around the world.
The 20 vertical zones locate one or more objects at the same time and show their position precisely. More than 15 application programs cover requirements from schools to stadiums to correctional facilities. The bright LED indicators stay easy to read even in direct sunlight.
In operation, the MZ 6100 takes the setup off the staff's hands. The auto-setup selects the right operating frequency based on the electromagnetic environment. The intuitive menu with slider settings works without any programming knowledge. When properly set up, several detectors operate side by side from a spacing of 2,5 cm. Optionally, a desktop remote control with zone display or the CMA interface module ties the detector into networks, including throughput analysis.
The unit ships in a neutral gray that fits into both representative and functional environments. For mobile use there is an optional castor set, and for operation without a power outlet there are optional battery modules.

Three password-protected access levels and a five-digit alphanumeric system with 60 million combinations secure the settings, and all the electronics sit tamper-protected overhead in the gate frame.
20 boosts for difficult sites.
Each of the 20 zones can be raised with its own sensitivity boost, until a uniform detection field is in place even at difficult installation sites. The random alarm is adjustable from 0 to 100 percent.
Checks itself.
The full self-diagnosis runs automatically and reports faults before they affect operation.
Runs without a power outlet, too.
Optional battery modules bridge one hour, or up to ten hours of operation with the 14 Ah module.
IP55, optionally IP65.
Protection rating IP55 per IEC 529 keeps out dust and strong water jets, and an IP65 version is available for outdoor use.
