PD 6500i IP65: the weatherproof walk-through detector
The PD 6500i IP65 works on the pulse-induction method with Garrett Dual Optics and a Digital Signal Processor. Multi-zone pinpointing captures objects in 33 separate zones from head to toe and shows the height and approximate position. 20 programs cover airport, court, correctional facility and stadium. Protection rating IP65 means dust-tight and protected against water jets. That keeps the device usable outdoors as well.
The PD 6500i IP65 keeps all settings, even when disconnected from the mains, and needs no calibration after switching on and off. A memory battery is not required. At eye level, internationally understood traffic-light symbols show a red stop hand or a green walk symbol and thus increase the throughput rate.
The PD 6500i IP65 works with Advanced Broadband Technology. It analyzes the object, detects ferrous and non-ferrous weapons and distinguishes precious metals. With multi-zone pinpointing it is the only walk-through detector approved at US and European airports that shows the height and approximate position of the object.
DTI is the exclusive importer of Garrett. The manufacturer's walk-through detectors stand in US and international airports and were used at the Olympic Games.
With protection rating IP65 the detector also works reliably outdoors.
