Extended display over Ethernet network
The Garrett CMA interface module extends the display capabilities of the walk-through detectors over Ethernet. The walk-through detector is network-capable. You monitor the passages on screen and run statistical analyses on the network via the iC module. With the iC module you connect one or more walk-through detectors to a laptop or PC, by cable or wirelessly. In this package it is done by cable.
The internal data memory records all changes to the settings as well as the person throughput and the alarm history. This data is available to you for analytical evaluation. The module works on an Ethernet network (10/100baseT) with a PC. This way you control and monitor the checkpoint from a remote location.
For diagnostics, you watch the throughput rate. If it is off, review the concept. During troubleshooting, you check the detector, the staff and the access routes. This makes the weak points visible. If the throughput rate is roughly twice as high or half as low, the device is set up incorrectly.

All detectors, one console.
The CMA module connects the walk-through detectors to a laptop or PC. Programs and sensitivity can be adjusted for several devices at once, and access runs in real time.
One screen for two devices.
The control unit also pairs with a VMI X-ray unit. Detected objects and people from both devices appear on one screen, and one person monitors both in real time.
Groups instead of single devices.
The group management organizes several lanes by location and name, such as North Entrance with WT1 and WT2.
Alarm rates in view.
Alarm rates, throughput counts and other diagnostic statistics accumulate centrally, for evaluation and documentation.
Stable over Ethernet.
The connection runs over the Ethernet network, stable even in radio-critical environments.
