  • We instruct your staff on our devices and issue training materials as well as a certificate of attendance.
  • For the security guarding trade, a 40-hour instruction at the Chamber of Industry and Commerce (IHK) is the standard case. Certain activities, for instance shoplifting prevention or admission to access-controlled large events in a supervisory role, require the competence examination under section 34a of the Trade Regulation Act (GewO). Every guard must be entered in the guard register (Bewacherregister).
  • For operating a type-approved fully shielded X-ray device, the documented instruction of the operating staff is sufficient, and a radiation protection officer is not required (section 19(3) of the Radiation Protection Act, StrlSchG). Where competence in radiation protection is required beyond this, it is acquired in a course, for instance at TÜV or at the Haus der Technik in Essen, and updated at least every five years.
  • In air transport, the Federal Aviation Office (Luftfahrt-Bundesamt) recertifies operators of X-ray technology every three years.
