Garrett Super Scanner® V

The Garrett Super Scanner V is the proven hand-held detector for the follow-up check after a walk-through detector alarm, in service for over 20 years. One control switch, automatic self-calibration, no further adjustment. It detects even the smallest metal objects and signals audibly, visually or by vibration, depending on the setting. Robust, impact-resistant ABS housing to US military standard 810F, built for continuous operation.

The Super Scanner V calibrates itself automatically and monitors the battery, no further settings are needed. On a find, it signals audibly, visually or by vibration, depending on the setting. A press of the on switch is enough, after which it detects hidden metallic weapons down to the smallest knives and pistols. An elimination switch adjusts the sensitivity when nearby metal, such as rebar in the floor, causes interference.

Among DTI customers, the Super Scanner V is part of the standard equipment for follow-up checks. It targets exactly what the walk-through detector reports, from the stadium to the court to the correctional facility.
