The Astrophysics XIS-6040 is a compact X-ray scanner. It inspects carry-on baggage, parcels, and small freight items quickly and precisely. With a small footprint, it fits airports, train stations, and event venues. Made in the USA, it is in service by the thousands at critical infrastructure.
The 160 kV generator penetrates a typical 39 millimeters of steel and resolves wires down to 40 AWG. A 180 kV upgrade raises penetration to 41 millimeters. The belt carries 165 kilograms at a belt height of 71,6 centimeters and runs both forward and backward.
At DTI customers, the XIS-6040 inspects backpacks, bags, and parcels. It stands where throughput is high and floor space is tight. That ranges from event entry to critical infrastructure.
