The PD 6500i is the walk-through detector that security teams deploy at airports, courthouses and stadiums worldwide, with 33 pinpoint zones and more than 20 ready-made programmes. The Paragon resolves twice as finely across 66 zones and detects even the few grams of metal in a mini phone, which makes it the choice for annual general meetings, embassies and high-security settings. Both share the same service package of maintenance and insurance, you only choose the hardware.
Standard or premium?
Both models are built for international detector requirements up to aviation security. The choice comes down to the resolution you need. The 33 zones of the PD 6500i cover standard operation, while the Paragon brings its 66 zones and mini-phone discrimination to high-security settings.

The PD 6500i locates in 33 zones, while the Paragon doubles that to 66 and shows the exact position from head to toe, left, centre or right. Follow-up checks start exactly where the alarm occurred instead of screening the person again.

An integrated backup power module bridges about one hour, optionally up to ten. Both modules sit inside the device with no exposed cabling, so the checkpoint stays in service even during an outage.

The PD 6500i keeps its settings even off the mains and needs no calibration after switching on or off. Eye-level traffic lights govern the passage, and the counter works in both directions.
Connected into the security workflow.
Bluetooth links mobile devices, an integrated chip card reader reads passes, and three access security levels protect the settings from unauthorised access.
Monitored and analysed on screen.
Through the iC module the detector connects to a computer by cable or wirelessly. Passages can be monitored on screen and analysed statistically, and the internal memory records every change.
