Legal requirements
Security equipment in public buildings and at commercial entrances must be regularly inspected and certified. Without valid inspection certificates, no device may be operated.
Responsibility as operator
As the operator, you bear responsibility for valid inspections, documented maintenance and qualified operating staff, regardless of the manufacturer.
Audit security
For internal and external audits, all certificates must be complete. Missing records lead to findings or, in the extreme case, to the device being shut down.

All devices meet the applicable German and EU standards. Certificates are renewed annually and are available digitally at any time.
Anyone operating an X-ray scanner
needs qualification in radiation protection.
X-ray baggage scanners are radiation installations subject to approval. A person qualified in radiation protection must be on site at all times during operation. Mandated by the German Radiation Protection Act.
Certified operator available as an option
If you do not provide your own radiation protection officer, book our certified operator. He holds the radiation protection qualification and operates the device during your event.

For longer-term rental, you appoint your own radiation protection officer. We support the qualification application, arrange training and provide all device-specific documents.

Important: An X-ray baggage scanner must not be operated without a person qualified in radiation protection present. Talk to us early. Together we will clarify whether your own radiation protection officer makes sense or whether our operator solution fits.
